I agree with the statement “the way we live is bad for the environment”, we as a society have been consuming the resources that exist in the planet for millenniums, but that is not have been always like that. Before the XIX century people used to live a normal life with no much excess about food, clothes, and money in general. It was from the industrial revolution that humanity have been depleting every resource that exist to maintain the requirements of a modern society. For instances the problem of trash have been an issue for decades without a proper solution, people have been consuming more and more since the capitalism was implanted in countries, these trash from the products that people have been consuming, normally Is carried to places where is burned or hidden under the earth, however not even a 20% of all these trash have been recycling, leaving tons of trash on the earth or in the ocean. So if people continue living the way they have been, depleting every resources available on earth, there will be nothing that will save us from starvation, inequality, poverty, lack of food, and many wars for the most important resource of life, water.
