There was an organization who was created in 1998, called DMA, its main objective had been to save the greatest number of homeless dogs that are out there in Bogota streets. The organization was started by a group of Distrital university students, who wanted to provide free health care to animals that are in bad conditions. The organization funds were provided by people that saw the animal conditions and want to help them. The amount of hard work that have been done is huge and some other groups were interested in keeping track of their work to create projects similar of this organization.
